About me
I've been a facility manager for NHPCO for the past 10 years where my role has grown and changed with the needs of my organization. My company is dedicated to ensuring that everyone have education about and access to the best person-centered care that humankind has to offer at the time when it is needed. Both of my parents received hospice care at the end of each of their lives, and the lasting impression it left on me inspired me to dedicate a large portion of my professional life to make certain other families had experiences like my own. My role is far removed from the bedside, but I do my part to support the NHPCO staff who in turn do their work to support those in the field and at bedsides.
I am a member of IFMA, currently serve as VP Professional Development for IFMA Capital Chapter in Washington DC, and am also a member of the Workplace Evolutionaries (WE) community.
