Over the past 5 years, the FM organisation in INGKA Group (IKEA) has spent extensive efforts to become a reliable and transparent internal service provider. This resulted in a clear scope and way of working across 25 countries (covering retail units, offices, ...), allowing it to grow as a true business within (and for) the business. The deployment of a global CAFM tool (incl. mobile working for FM coworkers) faciltated this development through reporting, analytics and performance management.
