Herman Knevel is Head of Innovation at ISS and customer lead for the Global Open Innovation Program. His drive for making impact and connecting people and business makes him a real value creator. His areas of expertise are strategy and governance of facility management organizations and strategic sourcing. As a consultant he is working for almost all corporates in the Netherlands and for numerous public organizations. George is the initiator of a large number of leading research projects such as The Future of Work, The Provider Performance Research, The FM Market Research. George is managing partner at Hospitality Group, the leading consultancy, training and interim management firm in the field of facility management and real estate. In addition to consultancy activities, he is a much sought-after speaker at congresses and he teaches several courses in the Netherlands.

About me
I've been a facility manager for NHPCO for the past 10 years where my role has grown and changed with the needs of my organization. My company is dedicated to ensuring that everyone have education about and access to the best person-centered care that humankind has to offer at the time when it is needed. Both of my parents received hospice care at the end of each of their lives, and the lasting impression it left on me inspired me to dedicate a large portion of my professional life to make certain other families had experiences like my own. My role is far removed from the bedside, but I do my part to support the NHPCO staff who in turn do their work to support those in the field and at bedsides.
I am a member of IFMA, currently serve as VP Professional Development for IFMA Capital Chapter in Washington DC, and am also a member of the Workplace Evolutionaries (WE) community.
This is my first time to Europe and thusly Amsterdam as well. I very much look forward to making some new connections, learning togethe
